SketchUp Mastery Foundations: Part One

This introductory SketchUp course is perfect for someone brand new to the 3D modeling software or someone looking to brush up on the foundation principles. We’re digging into all the basics for drawing, editing, and navigating the program.


SketchUp Mastery Foundations: Part Two

This is a continuation of the the core foundation of knowledge needed to master this 3D modeling software. We’re diving deeper into using and creating materials, organizing your model with tags (layers), understanding groups vs components, and presenting your model creations with scenes and section cuts.


SketchUp Mastery Foundations: Part Three

This is the final installment of the the core foundation of knowledge needed to master this 3D modeling software. We’ll be looking into using shadows along with selecting and creating styles. I’m also giving you some of my favorite tips like customizing your keyboard shortcuts, pasting elements in different ways, and best practices for reducing the size of your SketchUp models while improving performance.


Working with Floor Plans in SketchUp

In this class we’re taking a look at a few different ways to import floor plans as well as creating a floor plan from scratch in SketchUp. We’ll also discuss how to determine the best method to choose depending on your project needs. And of course we’ll be diving into the most efficient ways to organize your plan reference for better 3D modeling for the next phase.
