Sherwin Williams 2019 Colormix Forecast
Color! Oh Color! What would design be without color? Nonexistent!
Even if your color palette is on the neutral side, the variations are what makes it all come together. No one wants to be in a space with just one single color. A monochromatic space is fine and dandy, but you need the variations in shade for it to feel good. The balance of shades between white, grey, and black for instance. Maybe throw in a pop of bold color in an accent.
But let’s say you’re more interested in full on color and not just a monochromatic palette. So let’s take a look at the newly released Sherwin Williams Colormix Forecast for 2019. They’ve pulled together 42 trend colors into one big master palette for the coming year. This color list is then divided up into six “unique color personalities.”
Today I’m going to give you a little introduction to the Sherwin Williams Colormix Forecast. Then you can follow along over the next few months in a series of posts that will focus on how to implement these color palettes into your home. Each month I’ll pick one of these palettes and show you a few variations on how to work them into a room design.
Check out the video below for a visual of the inspiration behind these colors.
